The Child of Promise has been born and Abraham is enjoying the fulfillment of God's promise to Him. However, God soon comes to Abraham once more, and asks the impossible: "take your only son, whom you love, and sacrifice him to me upon an altar." In other words, give to me what you treasure the most. How does Abraham respond? How should we respond when God asks for everything and more than we are prepared to give? This message explores what it means to trust in God, even when we do not understand the why of what He is asking of us.
